Politics Plus is delighted to be working in collaboration with Eximo Marketing to deliver a workshop to support Members in raising their social media profile, whilst providing tools needed to build a social media strategy.
This half day workshop will start with an introductory session to provide a simple framework to create a
social media strategy, which will help Members and their teams make social media work for them.
The session also includes Social Media 101, an introduction to all the major platforms including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram. The audience will learn the basic etiquette of each platform and receive information on how to decide if you should launch a new platform.
Finally, as Twitter is the main platform for politicians to engage with their electorate, the workshop will
explore this platform in greater detail including tips for maximising content and reach, with hashtags,
images, video and gifs. It will also look at dealing with any negativity on Twitter and how to deal with trolls.
