Politics Plus, working collaboration with the Law Centre NI, provided MLAs and their staff with an information session on Personal Independence Payment (PIP) on Wednesday 3 October 2019.

The session, delivered by Owen McCloskey from the Law Centre NI, gave Members and their staff an opportunity to update their knowledge on these payments and worked through some practical examples to assist them in the day to day work of constituency offices.

The main areas covered by this session included:

– What is PIP?
– Timetable for introduction
– The claims process
– Disputes
– Points based assessment
– Relevant legislation
– Sources of additional help

If you require any further information on this PIP session, please do not hesitate to contact Politics Plus: info@politicsplus.com
