Women in Public Life Programme 2016 Applications Open!

We are recruiting our new 2016 cohort for Women in Public Life Programme!

Women are underrepresented at a senior level in the Northern Ireland Civil Service and across public, regulatory, advisory and specialist bodies. One of the core aims of Politics Plus is to address this imbalance and strengthen the role of women in political and public life through the programmes we deliver. Our initiatives have been specifically designed to address many of the barriers to participation that have been identified and build collaborative relationships between women. As our first Women in Public Life Programme was met with such success and encouragement, we are excited to recruit our new 2016 cohort! The new Programme will be launched on Friday 11 March, as part of a series of week-long events to mark International Women’s Day.

The following entry requirements must be met:

  • Currently working in public or third sector
  • Works at an equivalent grade/level to Assembly Grade 5 and above/Deputy Principal and above in Civil Service
  • Payment of £500 participant fee must be confirmed/authorised

Only online application submissions will be accepted. Find out more about the programme here or apply now
